Hi,
Our employees always experience delay when sending Email to AOL.com. I trace the message from tracking center..
"...
...
SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Message
Message Transferred to through SMTP
SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Message
Message Transferred to through SMTP
SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Message
Message Transferred to through SMTP
SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Message
Message Transferred to through SMTP"

Does anyone what those messages means? and what cause the delay? Is it because of DOL's server?

Other outbound Emails are working fine.
Thanks for your help!

It looks like the session is getting disconnected from the AOL server before it completes the send.

It might be worth trying to spoof a mail to the aol server (using telnet) and see if you get disconnected.

It might be something at the AOL and nothing to do with you (most likely i think).

Yeah, aol uses reverse dns if you don't have it it will not accept e-mail from you it will treat it as spam. I recently found this out from network solutions.
