Hello,
I have a SQL Server that needs a hardware upgrade due to space concerns. Right now there are 10 HardDrives in the compaq proliant ml3000 server. 2 are mirored for the OS and the rest are setup as a seperate array for the data etc and then logically partitioned through windows 2000. My questions is I have some larger drives but I'm not sure If I can just add 1 drive at a time and let it rebuild? Will this dynamically give me the extra storage space for whatever drive was replaced. My only other option is a fresh install and then restore the DB's from tape.
Thanks in advance
