execute foxpro 2.6a developed executable from withing Oracle forms 10g

I need to be able to run a program developed in Foxpro 2.6a from within a procedure in Oracle 10g. Any thoughts on how to do that?

Do you need it to be launched on client PC or AS?

It would need to run from the AS which is a Sun Solaris machine.

Do you really have FoxPro installed on Solaris? If so you may use HOST built-in that executes any OS command.

No I do not have Foxpro installed on the solaris machine. I am running Oracle 10g AS on the Solaris box but need to run a foxpro 2.6a exe from that AS. Somehow I need to do it from within a procedure, is that what you mean by host?

So where does your FoxPro reside? I also have a copy, do you need to call it? I'm sure you don't
