Greetings:

I have been given administrator priveleges on an NT4.0 network. I would like to be able to install some software on a windows 2000 workstation without others who log on to this machine see these applications. Any guidance would be appreciated greatly.

I would install the program, remove all shortcuts to it so that you can only access the program through My Computer, go the properties of the folder containing the program, and change the security so that only you(or Domain Admins) have access the the folder.

This will stop anyone else from being able to go into the folder. Although, if someone is a local Administrator on that machine, they could take ownership of the folder then add their name in the security setting.
