Hello All
We have an exchange 2000.
For the last 3 weeks the exchange server stop and the users get error message that the exchange server in unavailable.
The only thing that fix the problem restarting the server.
Why is the exchange "stop"?

Thanks

The Exchange Information store was stoped and the virtual memory is very low.
I have 512MB of ram by the Virtual memory is 72MB after one day of work.

Thanks

512MB of RAM for Exchange 2000 should be good for up to 10 users, however that is only if all service packs have been applied to Windows and Exchange.

SP everything and apply hotfixes. Purchase more RAM if possible, fit and adjust your pagefile. Then the problem should go away.

Ball park 256MB RAM for server, 256MB RAM for Exchange and 10MB RAM per person. Add more if it does more like WINS, DNS, AD etc.
