Hi,

I would like to find information on how to connect to exchange server through VPN. The vpn is established and we can browse the network, but I need to configure outlook to connect to the exchange server on company´s SBS 2000 server.

Thanks

Just make sure you inherit the VPN settings from the VPN server, in other words, your default gateway has to point to the VPN tunnel.

Hi Marc,

How could I point the default gateway to the VPN tunnel? Do you mean in TCP/IP configuration?

Yes, in the advanced tab, there is an option to 'inherit' the remote settings, or, you can always force it manually.

This option is on. I must say here that can download the mailbox, but not the messages. When trying to sync. and download messages it says that server cannot be found. Maybe something not good configured on the server?

Probably, but that, we cannot see from here.
What you can test is using the server's IP address instead of the name. If it works then, you have a DNS issue to resolve.
Start with pings and work from there.
