Exchange server sitting behind Linksys DSL./Cable Router.

So where does the MX record have to be pointed? To the IP coming into the box and I need to open Port 25 and 110?

I can edit my MX record right on register.com and I am sure that is all I need to do on that. Just not sure if I point it to the External IP of my Line coming in.

Yes, you must point the HOST or A record to the Public IP address. (The MX record points to the hostname, not the IP). Then, on your router/firewall, you need to open your ports and assign a static mapping to your server's private IP.
