My Exchange server 2003 takes more than 15 minutes to start. What are the possible reasons?
The Exchange server 20003 is also a DNS server with Windows server 2003 installed. We have another DNS server running Windows server 2000 and they are replicating to each other, and both are Domain controllers, belonging to 2 completely different domains, adomain.com and bdomain.com
The Windows 2000 takes less than 3 minutes to come back online with a few web sites on it. But the exchange/windows 2003 takes more than 15 minutes to come back online. I tried to look for the slow-booting reason in Event View, but no help. The Exchange server 2003 works fine when it gets back online.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
