Hi

I have just installed a replacment Exchange 5.5 machine after the old one failed. Everything was going great until I noticed that mail send between internal accounts was going out via the Internet, I have looked in the "connections" option and there is only the "Internet Mail Service" and not the other one for internal mail delivery (was it the X400 conmnector??) anybody know I can add this, I can not see any option??

Any help would be really great, thanks for looking.

You can add an x400 connector on the New / New other file menu in exchange administrator. However, as this is a new installation, you will first need to add and configure a TCP MTA Transport stack for the connector to use.

Thanks for the information...

I have added the "MTA Transport Stack" no problem, but I dont see the x400 connetor in the New / New Other.

When I select "New Other" I get the following options..

Server Monitor...
Link Monitor...
-----------------
Recipients Container...
Address Book View...
Address Book View Container... (greyed out)
------------------
MTA Transport Stack...
Dynamic RAS Connector...
------------------
Site Connector...
Directory Replication Connector...
------------------
Information Store...
------------------
Newsfeed...
Internet Mail Service...

X.400 connectors only appear by default if you have Enterprise edition. FOr the Standard edition, you need to Add them as a seperate product to the Exchange install.

You must rerun the Setup program and and choose Custom setup to get the x400 connector. Reapply the service pack again.
