Exchange Message Size Limit

We have set our exchange SMTP limits to 6MB. This works fine for incoming external mail.

But...Internally, if a user sends, for example a 60MB file, it still sends to the exchange server, clogs everything up, then sends the user back a undeliverable report.

Is there anyway of preventing this? (Some for our staff are untrainable in this respect!)

Check also the limits on the connector itself (In Routing Groups).
