Exchange log folder growing very quickly

The folder that stores our exchange logs seems to all of a sudden be growing a lot quicker than before. We currently have 100 users and the folder is growing 150MB every 10minutes, is this normal?

In this time the email server has only dealt with 47 emails

nothing, its all vert bizare, message tracking isn't showing any extra emails either

I have seen something like this when an Entourage client tries to send a message larger than the global limit. Other things to look for would be real time AV exclusions, NDRs piling up, or high spam volumes. It appears from your message flow that spam isn''t it.

If there's nothing in the queues, then it's internal.

cheers for all your help people, it seems that its possibly our BES server causing all the log activity, so i'll investigate further
