Exchange It program

We have Exchange It! (not exchange server) program installed on our computers so we can synchronize with our main server's outlook calendar. It synchronizes every 5 minutes to make sure we have the same information. I did not install the initial program but have recently stripped a computer and I did install the program on it. When the computer goes to shut down, the program wants to synchronize with the server and then you have to click OK in order for the computer to actually shut down. I would like it to stop synchronizing during shut down. I have looked in the settings to the program and there isn't a choice of stopping that function. Any suggestions?

Yes, it is an add on to our MS Office XP package

No, I'm not sure it is an add-on. Our IT person added that feature when he set up our server and client stations. I was just assuming - sorry. I also do not get any hits from searching for this program in google. It always defaults to MS Exchange. All I know is that it is an application that we install when we add another computer or when I have stripped one clean to connect to our server. It is attached to MS Outlook. When you click on properties for your inbox, there is a tab for the Exchange It at the end where you can add permissions of staff including yourself to see the master calendar and contacts. I don't know where the IT person got this program and I can't contact him anymore. Thanks for responding.

Does your IT dept not have any info on this application?
Is there a help file with it?
Is there any company contact info in the app ?

I honestly don't think this is a Microsoft application - sounds like a 3rd party add-in. As such, I doubt if you will get much help here

Best bet would be to see if there is any contact info within the app (help files / or 'about' under the help menu) and use that to contact the vendor....
