Sorry, Exchange version is 5.5, Windows is 2k, and we are not using Active Directory.

At first I was unsure if it was possible at all - now I know better.
My goal is to restore a single mailbox - so a permanent working system is not an output.
I have done the restore, and I am now running the eseutil utility to repair. Then I will run the consistency checker to recreate the DS.
You have done this before? Have I missed anything?
