Hi All,
A couple of exchange email automation questions for you.
When creating an email through MAPI:
Can I retrieve the First/Last name of the recipient?
Can I retrieve the First/Last name of the sender?
Can I set the email to use the default signature file of the current logged on user?
The exchange server DOES return the persons name to me formatted "last, first" so I could parse the names out so that I can display them in the body of the message but if the names are accessible individually it would be cleaner.
Is there a flag to set for using the signature file? Right now it does not insert the signature even though the account is set to have one as default on new emails.
If the above are not challenging enough:
Is it possible to take the typed in name and get back a list of close matches that the client can choose from?
We do this on our web servers but we have to pass in both first and last names individually rather than a single field.
Thanks.
