When establishing connectors and Replication between sites. Ensure you have no duplicate addresses prior to replication. The servers tend not to like it!
 
This sounds familar!!!!!
 
I need some input on the best way/how to connect two Organizations running Exchange 5.5 over the internet so GAL's etc can be swapped. I would appreciate any help at all.

Connecting two different organizations? Or two sites in the same organization?

Connecting two Organizations. I need to connect via the Internet so that we can share GAL's and maybe setup public folder replication.
