I sent myself an email from my hotmail account and received it
2 days later at my office address. We are running exchange 5.5 and also host our own email. There were no issues from what I can tell on the exchange server. Our Company infrastructure has not gone down in a very long time. There have not been any glitches here from what I can see. It has happened twice in the last month. The both from my hotmail accoutn to my work address. Any ideas...? Thanks in advance.

Check the internet headers on the email you received at the office address. If you're using Outlook, open the email then click view, then options. Down near the bottom will be the internet headers which will will show you the routing of the email. Read it from the bottom up and you'll see all the hops along the way. If you see it sitting for a period of time before being sent to the next server that is where the problem is.

Cheers.
