We are soon to be migrating our Exchange 5.5 Environment to 2003. Our layout is a follows
Bridgehead Server and Mailserver in site 1
7 other sites running Exchange 5.5 connected to the Bridgehead with x.400 connectors
We plan on migrating our bridgehead server first and then upgrading all the sites one by one as time permits.
My question is, can I pre-configure a new Bridgehead server in Exchange 2003 and start setting up all my site connectors to the remote sites ahead of time so that when the time comes, I can power down the existing bridgehead server and have the new one take over with little or no downtime?
Any help would be appreciated.
