We have a an Exchange 5.5 server and have bought a new server, we will want to continue to use both and gradually move over the users mailboxes and the public folders and addressbooks. We were wondering how we can do this, the books we have assume we are just upgrading our existing 5,5 server, we want to move over to this new Exchange 2003 server once we have installed it.

Thanks

Andy

from a simple google search:

from experts-exchange.com (great forum, very smart people on there)
2k3 has been around long enough that you can pretty much find info on migrating anywhere.. i did the same migration about 5 months ago. piece of cake! Just make sure you got good backups of your exchange 5.5 incase ya blow something up..

Add the 2003 Exchange server to the 5.5 site.
Add the new server to the public folder replication.
Move mailboxes with new Exchange System Manager
