Hi,
We are about to upgrade from Exchange 2003 SP1 to SP2. The only issue we have come across is this:

There is a known issue where Uuencode attachments that are sent from non-Exchange servers are displayed as garbled text in Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2
The article at covers this.
There is no resolution to this issue other than changing the sending server configuration.

Has anyone actually experienced this? What other gotcha's have you expereinced with the upgrade?

Thanks,
Cam.

I've had no issues either and I've been running it for months.

I've done numerous SP1 to SP2 updates. If IMF v1 is installed, uninstall it first, other than that it is a piece of cake.

I've upgrade about 75 servers so far, and I haven't had any issues.

Stop you AV service before starting. And do this when done:

Definately read up on uninstalling IMF v1. If it is not installed you are OK. If it is installed and not under Add/Remove programs you are going to need to reinstall version 1 then uninstall it. That is the only problem I ran into.
