Hello,

When installing Exchange 2003 what were the commands.

/forestprep and /domainprep

thanx alot,
M

On DC with 'schema master' FSMO

setup /forestprep

(wait for replication if you have multiple DCs -- or force it)

setup /domainprep

the setup file should be in the i386/SETUP/ folder of your CD (or something like that).

Cheers.

Great Thanx.

While setting up /domainprep I got the following Message and just wanted to know how to solve the problem

The domain "company.domain.com" has been identified as an insecure domain for mail-enabled groups with hidden DL membership. Hidden DL membership will be exposed to members of the built-in "Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible Access" security group. This group may have been populated during the promotion of the domain with the intent of allowing permissions to be compatible with pre-Windows 2000 servers and application. To secure the domain, removed any unnecessary members from this group.

thanx,
M

That's an informational - check the members of that group then carry on.
