In the recipient policy it has @domain.local as default. Can I remove this completley or will that mess things up. I want to change it to @domain.com which is hosted offsite? What is the recommended solution for having .LOCAL domain in house with a .COM email address?

Why not have both, but have the default as the .com?

Works for me

I have switched back to having both. I was just questioning since we were having some mailbox issues. After changing and rebooting the system everything seems back to normal.

Thx

We have a .local domain but have removed that from the default recipient policy and added all the other .com domains that our company uses and have had no issues with doing so.
