Exchange 2003 doesn't work with x64, what about R2?

Hey guys,

I'm working with our consultant here on the Exchange 2003 implementation project. We learnt it the hard way that Exchange 2003 is NOT compatible with x64 servers!

Now, we've to redo the server and we have concern if there'll be problem with WS3k R2. Has anyone did a new installation of Exchange 2003 on 32-bit R2 WS3k? Please confirm! Thanks!

Yep. I've done plenty with it. R2 won't do anything for Exchange, really. But Exchange 2003 will run fine on it.

FYI: The next version of Exchange will ONLY run on X64.

Thanks, guys. I knew the next gen will be x64 only, that's why I tried to install the 2003 version on x64 already. Well, what a bummer!
