Hi everyone. I have a question about setting up exchange 2000. Right now we are running merak mail server and would like to try exchange instead. Our internal domain rip.com is behind a multihomed ISA server box that was running merak mail server for our external domain name ripstudios.com. We still want to get mail for only the ripstudios.com domain but obviously somehow it has to be forwarded to our internal domain and outlook clients. Where would I place the exchange 2000 server and would I have to create virtual servers or something to achieve my goals?.

Sorry if this seems vague. I have read an exchange 2000 book but none of them seem to go into much detail about internet connectivity and problems that arise if your internal domain is named differently then your internet name.

Thanks in advance for any help.
