Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000 with pix 506

I've got exchange 2000 running on windows 2000 with a pix firewall. I can send mail out, but mail in is not working. I've been working on this for months. Can anyone give me an idea of where to start looking?

Your message was not too specific so excuse me if I mention things that seem beneath you. I would first start by telneting to your mailserver on port 25 (SMTP) from the internal side of your network. get a list of the ESMTP sommands and see if you can communicate OK with the server. If you can, I would then try the same thing from an exnternal location. if you can't then i would open a case with CISCO. I know there have been some issues with ESMTP behind PIX firewalls

In addition to the preious post try running an nslookup to see that your server's public IP address has an mx record for your domain (run the query against someone's DNS server who is not able to send you mail.
Under NT you can type
nslookup

http://www.yourdomain.com

setqtype=mx
---you should see an mx record poiting to your servers FQDN which should poing to your servers external IP.
