moving exchange 2000 to a new server without upgrading to 2003. There are very few articles that are working for me. I have the EDB on a new server. I have used LDIFDE to export the directory objects. I populated the Store and I have ensured that the exchange database and stm are pointing to the proper locations. I am still not showing the mailboxes or users. Am I missing something?

Sorry, the above didn't work like I thought. Do a search on the following:
"Migrating to new hardware"

Thanks Marcs41 for the link. It will prove to be helpful, but I guess what I am trying to do with the EDB is import it on the new server that is running W2K server and Exchange 2K. It was a suggestion from a coworker, and I am finding that it is not working, or I am doing something incorrectly. Then of course for added fun there is a dot in the registry under HKEY_local_machine\system\controlset001\services\msexchangefbfpublish\parameters\***exch. This has of course propagated to all clients and servers. The dot is located at the end of the organization name before the first organizational unit. I am going to use legacydn.exe to try and remove the dot, but in the past it could not be done. Unfortunately going to 2003 is not an option at this time or it would be an easier transition.
