Strange problem here. We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. There are only a few servers left in the 5.5 environment, most of the servers now are Exchange 2003. Recently, I've seen a strange problem with one of the Exchange 2003 servers. For no apparent reason it will suddenly seem to lose communication with all the 5.5 servers. Communication with the 2003 servers is still perfectly fine, but it will not send or receive messages from any of the remaining 5.5 servers. They just queue up on the servers. Eventually, it does clear itself up, about 2-3 hours later. No mail is lost since it all just queues up and kicks out after it's fit.
There are no erroneous event log messages on any of the servers, and communication with all the Exchange 2003 servers does not appear to be effected. Nothing that I can see that's an issue. Anyone else ever see this before?
"I reject your reality and substitute one of my own.
