Need some guidance in Excel 2002...
Having sub-totals nested within sub-totals, what methods, if any, are available so as to have the Subtotal/Total rows format (bold, shade, etc.) In my present spreadsheet, I have subtotal/totals in columns D, E and F. I've attempted using conditional formatting to no avail.

Any help would be great!

What and where are you putting in your conditional formatting?

Blue,

"What" would be the bolding of the charaters and color shading of the sub-total rows.

"Where" not sure what you are asking. I highlight the rows (say 5-100) and then try to apply the formatting to no avail.

Is this what you're asking? (I would have replied yesterday but the site wasn't accessible.)

Many thanks!

Sorry, didn't make myself to clear.

The what I was looking for, is what are the conditions you are putting in for the conditional formatting. Also what are your conditions?

Also, are you just wanting the total row affected by the condtions?
