Excel - uing advanced filter crashed excel

Hi all

Any time I use advanced filter on my spreadsheet it crashes. I am using Escel 2000.

Is this a bugwith excel or something I can fix?

please define "it crashes" - does the application close ? does the spreadsheet close ? what actually happens ?

How are you trying to use advanced filter - please describe your situation and how you are attempting to apply the advanced filter

Is this with one specific file?

Have you tried a small list in a new workbook?

Sorry for the late reply...

I have tried the file again on my work PC and excel didn't shut down as it did on my home PC..

I'll try it again later on my home PC after a reboot to see if it happens again. Good to know anyway that it doesn't happen on my work PC.
