I have a coworker who gets the following message everytime he opens up Excel (part of Office XP): "C:\Program Files/rdixl/rdixl.xll could not be found." He clicks OK on this box and Excel acts normally. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Excel, but the message came right back up. This is a XP Pro PC. Any ideas how to stop Excel looking for this file at startup?. Thanks.

look in the folder Program files\Microsoft Office\Office\XLStart and see if there is a file there. If so, it may contain a reference to that file. Delete it and see if that cures the problem. If the user thinks he may need it, just move it to a different folder and test before deleting.
