Excel Spreadsheet with Mysterious Control 2

Greetings,

May I have some help modifying an Excel workbook with a mysterious control whose properties I am unable to view? The workbook is at

http://www.geocities.com/straight_manus/TestForm.zip.

(It appears to contain no macros, and Norton Antivirus 2005 finds no security risks in it.)

The control is on a sheet entitled "Req Form". When one selects cell D1 or E1, a down arrow becomes visible, and a help tip appears. When one clicks on the down arrow, a list appears. The contents of the list, or "ListFillRange", is column A of the second sheet. In short, it looks something like a Combo box or List Box.

I have tried and failed to edit this control in several ways (e.g. to change the ListFillRange). With the control and for toolboxes, I cannot select it. With the VBA editor, I cannot find it. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It's just Data Validation. Select the cell and do data / Validation and it will show thjat it is indeed a list of names in the named range ValidVendorNames
