I have an excel spreadsheet which contain around 20 sheets all sheets have about 20 rows of data,(some calculations but nothing complex) the file also has an link to an external spreadsheet which it uses to update the figures in the summary sheet. Each of the sheets in the main spreadsheet has a hyperlink to the summary sheet.

The file is around 10 meg. What I want to know is is that correct, don't feel it is and is there anything I can do to reduce the size of file.

Any suggwestions would be grtaefully received.

Thanks

Karen

The easiest way to test is to select all sheets (using shift key). Right click
Select move or copy
From the dialog, select new workbook and tick "Create a copy"

This will copy all sheets, in their entirety to a new workbook. Save this workbook and compare file size
