Excel "File / Open" Box does not sort by name

Hi,

We are running Office 2000, with all current Updates (SP3 etc) on Windows XP Pro SP1.

The problem is that in the Excel "File...Open" box, when the user clicks on the "Name" field, the list is not sorted properly.

This only seems to happen with XP, we have some NT4 Wks machines that seem to be OK.

Any ideas?
