We are using Canon multi-function devices which includes a
"message store" (mailbox) where print jobs can be saved until we are physically at the printer.
When printing an Excel file to the Canon, the file saves the Output method under Print Properties. I create an Excel spreadsheet, print it to my message store on the Canon and save the file to the shared drive. Someone else opens the file and prints it but the output still goes to MY mailbox rather than to the printer or to the sender's mailbox. The output method can be changed to print or save to another mailbox. If the file is only closed (and not saved) the original print settings reappear, i.e. it continues to print to the original mailbox.
Where is it saving this information in Excel? Is there a setting I can disable so the print job will use the printer default settings on the workstation rather than the last print settings that were used? (This seems only to be happening in Excel).
Thanks for any help you can provide.
