Excel Macros Reference Invalid

I have inherited an excel workbook that has macros but some do not seem to exist. When I click on them they give me a messagebox that says reference invalid and disables the delete button. Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?

How do you click on a macro that doesn't exist?

The name exists but when I click on it it says that reference invalid. When I go into the VBA editor it does not exist.

In the VB Editor...

Tools/References...

See if any checked box says something like it can't find the reference.

I just copied and pasted the data from the sheet and manually copied over the macros that I needed. Thanks.
