In Excel 2000
When I open a particular workbook I get the message "The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information in another workbook........"
I checked all the names cell and range references....OK
I checked each cell for a ref to another workbook ....NONE
I progressively deleted sheets, saving, closing, re-openning to find the offending sheet It was sheet 1
I deleted all formulas and data in sheet 1 .... still no good (When I closed the workbook and reopenned it I got the same message)
I selected the whole sheet and pressed delete. No good
I finally deleted the sheet. Problem gone....but no spreadsheet!!!
Any suggestions please
I know I can just say no to update, but I want to know why I have the problem
Thanks
