Excel has generated errors

I get the message "Excel.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows" when I try to close an Excel file, any Excel file. I'm using Excel 2000 and windows 2000.

Hi!

Do have Adobe 5.0 or Norton Anti-virus Office Plug-in installed?

If yes, then you need to go to one or both of their site and see what patches, solutions are available.
