Excel graph won't copy to powerpoint 1

Hi, Office 2007
I have 8 graphs to copy over to ppt (same workbook), I'm able to do most of them but all of a sudden one won't copy? Somebody retired and left me this task, I can't figure out why the graph won't copy to the clipboard. Please help

The only reason I can think of is that the worksheet is protected. Can you even select the Chart?

I figure it out, there's a second frame of some kind sitting behind the chart, if I make the chart a little smaller and then click into that second frame I'm able to copy, otherwise I can't. I don't know the why, just the how
