Just like MS Word can freeze if normal.dot is corrupted, I have the identical error with Excel 2000 (right down to the "dangerously low in resources" message). All other applications run fine - and I have done ALL of the normal uninstall, reinstall Windows, reinstall Office etc.
Here's a twist - Excel 97 runs fine. That's the current solution I've used to bypass the problem. Trouble is this problem bugs me.
Is there the equivalent of normal.dot for Excel 2000 that is not used for Excel 97?
