Really scilly question that i should know answer to but the heat has frazzled my brain!!

I've got an IF formula in Excel and I want to know if this cell or another cell is greater than a certain number then yes or no.

I would write it as this:

=IF(D23 or D24>=2500000, "YES", "NO")

but it doesn't work. Anybody help?

Your syntax for OR is wrong.

Try this:
[tab]=IF(OR(D23>=2500000,D24>=2500000), "YES", "NO")

[tab][red]The plural of anecdote is not data[/red]

Help us help you. Please read FAQ181-2886 before posting.
