Excel file exists but does not open 1

Strange... I cannot open an Excel spreadsheet. I can still import data to Access from the Excel SS but when I try to open in Excel I get a blank Excel screen and the files appears not to be open. Any thoughts???

DO you get an error message?

If not, the the spreadsheet window may just be hidden. Look at menu command Window and see if the Unhide sub-menu is available.

Hello,

Go to tools, options, general.
Uncheck "Ignore other applications"

/Sound

I just had the same thing happen to me, why would this occur besides the obviously answer, "Someone had to hide the data"?
