I have a spreadsheet that totals scores by person:

Jeff 1200
Jake 1245
Emily 2005
Gordon 2154
Thomas 1211
James 955
Roger 1055
Les 1506
Jon 1425

I would like a formula that will add up the scores excluding 3 some, for instance exclude Gordan, Jake,& Emily.
I think there's a way to do it by using "<>" any ideas?

Hi,
[tt]
=sumproduct((A1:A19<>"Gordon")*(A1:A19<>"Jake")*(A1:A19<>"Emily")*(B1:B19))
