Excel caused an invalid page fault in MS09.Dll

I can not open up Excel. Pops up an illegal operation with an invalid page fault in module MS09.DLL. I tried reinstalling Excel and even the whole office suite again. Still happening. Is this a windows problem? Does Windows need to be reinstalled, or worse, do I need to reformat and reinstall? I am just looking for solutions. I totally depend on Excel for all of my work.

What you need to do is rename mso9.dll and then use Add/Remove programs to repair Office. Since you didn't mention your OS, it's kind of difficult to give specific instructions.
