Hi there Excel experts!

I need to distinquish between 2 columns on my Excel 97 worksheet. Want to insert a bold vertical line between columns R and Q.

This is probably another easy one that I can't find in my 'Excel for Dummies' book :-)

Thnaks for any ideas. John

John,

Two options...

1) Format - Cells - Border

2) Tools - Customize - Then under "Toolbars", scroll down and choose "Drawing". This should get added to the bottom of your screen.

On the Drawing toolbar, there is a "line". Click this, and then draw your vertical line. Then, on the same toolbar, there is an icon for selecting the "thickness". Or, you can simply "double-click" on the "line".

Hope this helps. :-)
