Excel 97-Error '13'-Whenever I open Excel 1

Hi All,

This just started happening to me this morning. Whenever I open Excel, I get error message #13 "Type Mismatch". I don't understand why this is happening. I am wondering if it has something to do with some of my macros, but then why did it just happen now as opposed to when I first created them.

Any thoughts???

Do you have a macro that runs when Excel opens? If so, you might comb through that. Somebody may have entered something invalid in a cell that your macro uses (for example, some alphabetical character when your macro is looking for an integer).

I have some add-ins and utilities that may be causing it. I checked all of the macros I made and didn't see anything that may cause it. It appears as though I am going to have to see if I can get into some of the addins or maybe uninstall them and see if it continues.

When you get that error, if you have a debug button on the box, clicking on it will tell you exactly where the error occurs.

That's what my problem is, there is no begug option. Just
OK, Cancel and help. Of course the help is no help because I have no clue what is causing it.
