Excel 97 and Page Breaks.

Hi,

Situation is User is on Win NT4.0, when he opens his spreadsheets, they all now have page breaks in them, which he did not do. The spreadsheets are on the network. When I open them there is no page breaks in them. What could it be. Is it the startup workbook? Where can I find this? I know word uses Normal.dot what does excel use.

On the user's computer
open Excel
Select Tools, Options, View
Untick Page breaks
Click OK button

ALL sheets with lots of data have PAGE BREAKS.

Even if you REMOVE page breaks, they are STILL there.

You cohort is probably using the Page Break Preview View -- menu item View/PageBreak Preview.

You can CHANGE the VIEW, but...

PAGE BREAKS REMAIN!
