Hi All
We are upgrading our machines from Windows 2000 and excel 2000 to XP and excel 2003. We download alot of excel extracts from our intranet with no problem on our old setup, however on the new one it seems to firstly save to a temp file and then go to the path which was chosen. This means that some large extracts will take a minute on the old setup and 5 minutes on the new one.
The machines are on the same network going through the same firewall. The version of internet explorer on 2000 is 6.0.2800.1106co and XP 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2-gdr.050301-1519.
Could anyone throw some light on what settings I need to change to stop XP taking so long.
Thanks Eddie
