I have an Excel sheet that has 85 tabs of data that I would like updating from an oracle database. I have set up database queries on each and tested them all and they all run correctly.
My problem is once I have closed and come back to the workbook at a later date, when i refresh data I get the dialogue box appear for every tab thats need refreshing. (all 85!). Is there a way to get around this by storing the password.

When you set up the query in the 1st place, how are you accessing the database tables? When you set up the ODBC connection, you should have an option of HOW you connect - either using integrated security or via a userid + password. If you choose the latter, you will always need to provide the password each time you try to access the database tables...

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.

I do not get that option when setting up the connection. Do you mean when setting up the connection in the ODBC Aministrator or is this an option native to excel

In Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)
