Excel 2002 crashing when scrolling through available functions.

Hi,

When hitting the fx button and scrolling through available functions Excel crashes. There is an addin that when removed the issue goes away. However on most other machines that have this addin enabled we can't replicate the issue. Regmon and filemon didn't show anything interesting. Do you have any idea what the issue could be?

i take it u r talking about scroll with mouse

updated mouse driver?

changed mouse?

updated graphics driver?

With the mouse yes. How comes it doesn't fail when the specific addin is taken off the list?

chances are, the add-in has functions and if your add-in is at the bottom of the pull down and you scroll, sometimes the next entry in the list is blank at which
time excel crashes

that explains why it doesn't crash when the add-in is removed.

re-image? or remove and re-install oofice?
