Recently i have started having trouble with Excel 2000 running Windows 98se

When i open Excel i am only allowed to click anywhere once then my curser turns into what looks like a sheet of paper and im not allowed to click anywhere else. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to exit the software.

Anybody got any ideas?

Hmmm.

My first reaction would be to suspect contamination by a virus of some sort.

First steps, for me, would be to uninstall and then re-install Office 2000.
