Excel 2000 v9 - how to create a text box

Use the drawing toolbar (sorry, I should have told ya before).
View-Toolbars, Drawing.
Click on the icon with the A and some lines in it. Click and drag to draw the textbox on the screen. Resize and such as necessary. When applying fill or border (also from drawing toolbar buttons), make sure you click on the "box" and not the text in it. Do this too when you assign the macro. Anne Troy
